My brother has decided to sell the XJ, save some money and eventually get a wrangler.
He is asking $3000 new price $2000

So most have you seen pictures and what not.
I did all my experiments on it.
I'm trying to get him to send me some pictures of what it looks like now.
I don't have any pictures with the extra 2 inches, it actually has a really nice stance to it.
It is a 96 XJ balck 4 Door, about 220K, 231, AW4 auto, tranny was replaced with one around 120K last year.
Still takes all the stock parts drive shafts etc. so easy to work on.
It is only lifted 2 inches with spacers but everything underneath has been raised. Raised gas tank, clocked T-case flat skid plate, the front lower control arms were plated and notched out to allow more travel. It has good ground clearance. Basically 4" lift with ought the height.
Custom bumpers with receiver hitched front and rear the front one is under the license plate. Bumpers were never tied into the frame just never got around to it, but easy enough to do.
Rock sliders stuffed in the rockers.
Remove able doors.
HP30 front with 8.25 29spline rear stock gears rear spiders are welded.
Drives pretty nice. no sway bars.
Body has the nice offroad look, nothing major just a bunch of little dents.
Tires 30x9.5 Cooper STT about 50% tread.
on-board air setup on stock AC compressor
It is a pretty strong sleeper wheeling rig fun to show off to the big rigs.
