The dibs system is usually something done out of mutual respect for people. When I sold you those bumps I held them for you since you were the first person to contact me about them. Since I work out of the country 6 months out of the year people have in the past held stuff for me and that doesn't go unnoticed by any means. Everyone in SIS helps people out with very few exceptions. At the end of the day we all watch each others back. If you stick around long enough maybe you'll understand this.

Yes, money talks. However when someone holds something for you and then you try to talk them down in price a day later THAT is "pretty uncalled for" IMO (yes thats directed at you)

You may have a point about Matt's post being unreasonable, but you blanketing all of SiS with one statement is an equal level of bullshit, IMO.

I'm sorry you took Joe's build thread personally, but that is no reason to keep coming back to make negative comments.

Stay or leave, dont ride the fence. There are plenty of people here who have given their shirts off their back for me, and I would do the same for them.

Do you even know anyone outside of your "group" that posts here?

last night when this whole thing went to hell in a hand basket i was in a shitty mood already, and then i get a text that nick was getting the axle that i "called dibbs" i snapped. my rear sounds like a toddler in a dryer on fluff cycle. this whole thread came after i already called dibbs on the axle(i mwntioned it to a few people at the m&g). i was already talking to zullo at the time so i told him. the dibbs system is usually respected and has worked for me in the past, i have lost parts to the dibbs system it works both ways. long and short of it i understand where everybody is coming from. me and armand straightened it out this morning i'm getting the axle and nick is probably buying my locker unless phil who shottyed it sunday takes it.

usually when you're selling something for $30 people don't ask "hey will you take $30 for it?" But whatever you say chief

the dibs system always has worked well on here. and if you tell someone that you will sell it to them for that price, IMO the deal is done. Its like a car dealership selling a new challenger to someone for 55k, and then when the guy comes to pick it up the next day, they sold it to someone else for 56k...doesnt seem right does it....

if you dont like us here, dont be here. Its really quite simple. That statement isnt directed at anyone in particular. It is for anyone who is on the fence about posting here.

I have a serious question.... how do you make 250 a week and afford "a house and a mortgage, inspectors, heating, plumbing, appliances, real taxes, and all of the unexpected expenses to go along with it?"

no way you can make 12k a year and support yourself with all the expenses. Im not calling you out or anything...I really just dont understand

didn't i just get you a brand new radiator for a pretty good price, on my personal commercial account...........

Don't take sides dude. And well it may have not been my place to say something, i don't give a fuck, that kinda low blow to one of my buddies deserved a call out from someone. Like Maru said, you think i have sold things to people and had to wait sure.... Do i need the money, hell yea, as much as the next guy. Sometimes though, friends are more important than all that hoopla. Sorry i like to be a dick sometimes, at least i'd never moderately fuck someone over, esp with my word.

that being said, zullo out..... for this thread anyway.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

Nope, I make 250 a week! Haha, plus a little income from my gf but she makes less then me at the moment..Lets just say its not about what you know. But who you know haha ..and its a multi-family forclosure, so the house was the right price and once I have a tenant my mortgage is paid for.

I like the fact that you rent part of it out and that pays the bills, good Idea, The only problem I'd see (me) is that its hard to find a decent person to rent to, I wouldn't want some slob renting my place!
