They are a 3 inch by 34 inch plate, and 1 3/4inch .120 wall tube, the ones you are seeing here have counter sunk holes and are nut and bolted in place.

if you slam them hard enough it will just dent/crease the whole quarter panel

We thought of that, the slider is spread out the whole length of the quarter panel, so as it hits or rubs its distributing the load over the whole length of the slider, I also made it long enough where its using heavier parts of the unibody at each end. Obviously if you hit anything with enough force it will bend, break, dent shatter..etc.. But for what these are meant to do which is push the body off of trees I have full confdence it wll do so no problem. Im acually going to intentonally rub some trees today to be 100%.. Add these with the soon coming quarter panel armor Im shooting for some bulletproof quarters.

Its gonna pretty much be the same as the JCR stuff, just not with the taillight setup, and they will not be cut out by hand but with a lazer CNC machine so they are going to be pretty sweet. They also wont be near the price of the JCR ones, Mine will be tied into my upper sliders with a 1 inch wide peice of steel.

i've seen something like that before, it was on the actual quarter panel vs right below the window and it was mounted on the quarter armor. looks good though.
