If any of you guys are like me and like to build crap.
    Like putting motors on bicycles.
They just changed the State Statute, I was looking for something else

The law (Sec. 14-286. Use of bicycles, motor-driven cycles and high-mileage vehicles. ) used to be less than 50cc less then 2 hp no more than 30mph then they added 26" min seat height to get rid of all the pocket bikes.

It used to be bicycle with helper motor.

But the got rid of the 50cc 2hp and 30mph your allowed 5hp as long as it has a 26" min seat height.

Anyone else put a motor on a bicycle?
I get so many looks riding around town.
the green bike is close to 10 years old used to drive it all around boston when I was in college.

    holy awesome

i put a weedwhacker motor on a bike before. got to ride it for like 20 feet then realized when you weld a sprocket onto a crankshaft crooked it makes for a bad time

      I use centrifugal clutches.
But I get the engine running and use a grinder to turn down the crank to get it to fit.

What do you mean is this real?

I built those bikes the green one I built in college like 10years ago drove all over boston with it. there was like 4 or 5 of us with them.

The chain handle bar one I build 2 years ago when a few friends want to build more. Josh built the chopper looking one.
I have 2 more at my house almost finished but the guys lost interest.

Some much fun blasting around town with them. Pull into the bar and back it in next to a Harley, gets a lot of attention.
I always wanted to make a sticker that said Hardly a Davidson on it.

I make them from the toro snow blowers. so if anyone has one they don't want anymore I'm always up for building a new bike.
