When I try to log onto Firefox on my microsoft profile it tells me my proxy server is not allowing me to view the interwebs. It says contact your network admin. or to check your proxy settings...

I am a dumb newb when it comes to this stuff...

Im partial to hitting it with something, usually solves my electrical problems.

But to be a little more helpful, why are you using a proxy server in the first place? Unless you look at porn and dont want anyone to find out, are a internet hacker or you are trying to bypass some sort of internet censorship just dont use a proxy.

Best way to fix it is to just connect right to the internet without one. When in firefox go to tools, the scroll down to options, go to advanced, then click the settings button under connection.

Select No Proxy and press ok, viola, solved.

"log on" to firefox? im assuming you mean just start it up?

are you at work or at school?

do you actually use a proxy? if not clear them out
