      DAMN.

Now all we need is for Bridgeport to split off and sink into the Sound.

                Right here

I had my partner chaser out and about for the storms today. Kinda glad I didn't send her to Bridgeport....Although that is really the only major action today. She was chasing two storms, one in East Windsor, and another north of Waterbury.

Did they definitely call it a tornado? I was watching the news earlier and they said in the most intense parts of the storm they had 76mph winds, but were still unsure if it really had been a tornado. I saw pictures of the damage and could not believe it. I was on my way home from work and it was definitely getting cloudy and dark like a good storm was going to rip through and then across the radio came those damn weather alerts giving the tornado warning.

The National Weather Service will be in Bridgeport tomorrow to check it out. Going by the damage, they can determine if it was a Tornado.

At this point, I don't know why they wouldn't confirm it. And those winds were recorded at the airport....Imagine the power of the center of it all collapsing buildings on east main st. Going from what I saw in the videos and so forth, it was definitely a tornado, possibly an EF2.
