$5.00 / gallon for gas this summer? I think so

Not sure of anyone of you payed attention to what happened today regarding the oil rig but I think you all should be aware of this.

Obama had a speech this morning regarding the oil spill in the gulf. During the first 30 minutes of his speech gas went up 3 cents a gallon. By the end of his speech, gas went up $3.00 a barrel.

So what happened during his speech? All new drilling of oil and exploration in both the gulf and Alaska has been paused for 6 months. We can't drill new wells.

How is this helping the economy? How is this helping the unemployment rate?

Some experts are saying that gas will hit $5.00 a gallon by mid summer. Awesome, this should pull us right out of this recession
