Hey Guys, I am terribly sorry to hear about this...Its beyond suck...

However, time to start with a clean slate, think renewal! This isn't the end of the world. And you guys have done alot for me over the years, from Trout machining our covers flat to Stephy modeling for us to great ideas for new parts and even Trout making Garett a better TIG welder with his tips and hints. Time for a little payback!





I want to see you guys at KOH next February and so do most of the rest here. I like the idea of the donation pool but to really get you going I would like to give you a set of Axle Housings and Hubs if you will take them...If you want to wait a little while for the Sixty9 I would make it those housings and I might even be able to talk Jason into a great deal on the thirds...

Give me a yell...

BTW, I like the idea of an independant front & rear also!

You probably don’t remember us, but my wife and I met you and Steph at Trout’s old shop right after you three had returned from the Hammers in preparation for the 2009 KOH LCQ. I loved your buggy, and I was always stoked when Dan let me snoop around your build at his shop. I had hoped to see your latest upgrades at MFS’ BBQ possibly in June.

Just like others have said here, I feel really bummed about your loss, but I’m glad no one was hurt, and I can’t wait to see you guys bounce back stronger than ever. With as much as you guys have already sacrificed, and with that giant bank of karma that you have accumulated for tirelessly promoting the all important land-use issue as well, I have no doubt that the 4405 Phoenix buggy will be even more amazing and successful.

Well, I certainly got no skills to offer, and you guys don't need any of my Toy stuff, but I have been pinching my pennies for a long time in hopes of bringing my 4runner to Trout, Eric, and Jeff at MFS for some serious upgrades. In light of what’s happened, I’ve decided to hold off with my project, and instead, I’d like to donate $1,000 of my saved build money to give something back to you guys who have been doing so much to support our community. I don’t know your address, Travis, so please ask Dan to watch MFS’ mailbox for a check with your name on it. It’s about as much as I can spare right now, but it would be truly my pleasure to see you guys put it to use on your rebuild along with all of the other donations that have been pouring in.
