i ate really bad and was almost pushing 200 lbs, 197 to be exact.

i started running and going to the gym 5 times a week, i still eat pretty bad but i put off 10 lbs and I just keep losing it week by week.

P.S. Exercise more. Nothing wrong with having a good diet but don't go nuts seeing as you're still young.

They are super high in potassium.

A steady 2 Bananas a day actually isn't healthy for you. Consuming that much potassium is linked to causing heart arrhythmias. You shouldn't really eat any more than around 5 a week.

Oranges have more potassium in them than bananas, same with sweet potatoes.

I was more going to the 'Don't go nuts part when you are still young'. To be brutally honest, it's better that you eat healthy and work out WHILE you are young, because as you get older, it's harder to reverse the mistakes you've made diet wise as a teen / young adult.

I've started getting into the swing of Biking every time I can, same with pushups, situps and lifting ammo cans (since I'm too cheap to buy a set of weights ).

                Can't argue with that.

But, just from a mental standpoint, I can't stand constantly thinking about calories, and what I'm allowed to eat today.

In the grand scheme, I try to watch what I eat and throw veggies and fruit in when I can. Other than that, my diet hasn't really changed. I just make sure to work out enough that my metabolism works good and I'm physically fit.

Just don't go thinking Balancing off a carton of oreo cookies a day with an orange and a slice of bread is OK.

24 oreos has 1,680 calories in it and 84 grams of fat. I hope you ran at about 8 MPH for 2 hours straight to burn that many calories.
