agreed, u can pick up a shotgun for $250, an i much rather have a 12ga than a hand gun if something was chasing me.

how are you going to carry this gun? Thats an important factor. can you brandish where you are?

i have 0 suggestions for the $300 range.

but when i carry concealed i have a kahr p380 (.380 acp)


but in a backpack i bring my kimber pro tactical (.45 acp)

i've become fond of SIG's as of late.
my next handgun will be a sig 226 chambered in .40 cal

heres a scenario:
hiking along in yellowstone, or the mountains of the midwest with the lady. come around a corner and a bear runs off with her. wtf. so i take chase and grab my *insert new handgun here* and show that bear whos meat hes messin with.
