I dont know how I feel about this. On the one hand... the muslims that are building this and or will be attending probably hate al qaeda as much as we do, and many of them are probably technically 'american' as well. I mean... the muslim community itself didnt say 'lets blow up this building, a few members did. Unlike germany, who literally said (by its leading representatives), 'lets kill jews', or japan who blew up pearl harbor. Christians have done just as bad over many years, and other christians may have not agreed. I guess my opinion is that; I wish the wrong doings of some muslims weren't held against others. However, thats how it is... and knowing that, it is insensitive. Though, again, I dont know that the muslims who decided to place it knew they were being insensitive. As, again, not all muslims wanted what happened to happen.

the idea is, the people responsible were religious muslim extremists. to build a place of worship for the muslim faith on the site of the same event...on the Same Frickin Day...is a little misguided judgment. to me at least.
