the new A4 turbos are nice, and the new S4 is sweet too. from like 2002-2006 i hated audis. too much bloat, not enough soul. even now, theyre kinda soulless.
I heart like the 1 series a lot, but I think the looks seem to be a rare taste. I like the b6 Audis a lot. I was staring over my buddies slammed a4 today quite envious.

M package comes standard on the 135i

its bimmer not beamer. The car is a smile

As far as the polls. I'd prefer an evo 8 over the older STIs, but if I was buying new I'd rather have and STI than the new Evo

I'm a bimmer fan over Audis, but if I could only have a dd I would prefer an Audi for the awd system over bmw.

i think most people who drive bimmers are yuppie douches that have no knowledge of cars, just what the logo looks like

Newer for the most part, yes at least of the knowledge part. I think that is to be said about any of the german car or luxury cars nowadays for the matter

this mind frame tends to go hand in hand with most expensive cars because the people that usually can afford them are the yuppie asshole type. this isn't 100% true but during a day to day commute most people have no clue what they have, just that it's pretty or comfy. in most cases the knowledgeable car nuts we think about can't afford to have an M3 or something but make due with what they have

Evo over STi. I have always liked Evo's over sti's, but I'll take an Evo 9 over a 10 just because of the styling.

Bimmer over Audi, just cuz, well, that twin turbo 6 and I like the styling better

i'll tell ya the truth, sitting in the evo 10 > sitting in the new sti.

i havent driven either the new sti or the evo x but i felt more comfy in the evo. if it had a real gearbox it would be win. though stock for stock evo > sti, and the evo has more power potential. BUT i've driven quite a few subies and a couple evos and the subies have more soul. so in that respect alone i gotta go subie.

as for anything, i love older cars. i got to drive a slightly worked crx si last week and hot damn i love it. i'd rather have a small, lightweight, low horsepower car i can run at ten tenths more often than a newer, high power car that running at ten tenths is only something that can be done on a track bc it either too easy for the car or youll die bc the car will just eat corners up to 130mph.

pushing my little RS around 30mph mountain roads at 60-70 > doing it at 80 in a worked S4 (which i've done). the audi just was like yea whatever i got dis whereas you had to DRIVE my subie. and it just feels faster when youre pushing the hell out of a car.

was just going to say... for 40k ditch the jap crap parading as a decent car and get a 335i.

they arent competing cars, the m3 would be the s4 competitor.

Yes it does and it makes me sad. I had a woman in the store look outside and ask her daughter if she forgot to roll up the windows on the car. Her daughter said that it wasn't their car, there's was parked next to it. The woman was driving a e46 335i sedan and mistook a hyundai parked next to it as her This was only a distance of 40ft tops

the s4 the drove was 60k, and the m3 is 55-70k... explain how the 335i, should be the comparison?

the s4 is a sport tuned a4, as the m3 is a sport tuned 3 series...

and the S4 and 335i are the next level
