I don't agree with illegals but I will say this....how many people that are unemployed and bitching about it right now would accept a job cleaning office buildings on the third shift for 8.00 an hour?

They would stop bitching if the state cut the welfare program and the whole 'entitlement' bullshit.

People can make more money doing nothing than actually doing work these days, which is another problem somewhat related to the illegal immigrant crisis.

I get very upset when people hire them because they know they can be cheap labor. My family has been in landscaping for 3 generations and my cousin will still hire illegals from the bus stop knowing these guys are taking away money from honest business owners like my father. What drives me crazy is that these guys will start up their own businesses while working under other businesses and screw more people over. We have lost clients of 20+ years becuase Jose will be cutting the lawn across the street using someone else's gas, equipment, etc. and charge 1/3 price since it is pure profit for himself.

I feel like the problem of immigrants coming from the south is the amount that are illegal and still here. It is crazy that it has become a problem for so long that they have children and grandchildren here and start the whole issue of how can we deport the parents of "citizens" and break up these families.

Like Pete said, there are very little consequences for people who are caught here illegally too. I used to have a customer who's license was 6 years old, green card expired and had been arrested 3 times for driving without all this. He would pay the fines, buy a new car cash and start the whole process over again and was never deported. He was just waiting for his wife to get her citizenship here.
