  • APR 24 200 MILE EXP REPORT

took her out again this weekend except this time the prairie fought back. i ate it riding some double track in the middle of nowhere. front wheel got sucked into an invisible rut and i went down on the right side. cracked the fairing and bent the rear brake lever. i just bent the lever back off the footpeg and rode another 150 miles

    the fateful double track...

    turtle hills

    its getting cold...

    the end result

this guy came along for the ride
    winng. all the goddamned time.

banged up already ive gone down a few times on my bike, once on pavement.. i found on dirt roads/trails that may have ruts etc its far easier to ride with legs slightly bent, keeping your weight towards the back (keeps front tire light). a little speed helps also. The front tire will basically skim the top of rough sections instead of going down into them

                  im in north dakota.

not so much into photography, just tryin to share the awesome of my adventuring. im all about documentation these days.

the double track here is usually pretty deep. as long as its dry, its easy to hold your line. once it gets soggy, it gets really difficult. i couldnt even tell it was mush until after i hit the ground. stupid grass

adam, i would love to except id need to take 2 weeks vacation time. its either moab or a wedding
