  • Digital photography club advisor needed

With so much talent here @ SIS, I am putting out a request for someone who likes working with kids, has a good knowledge of photography (digital) and would like to make some money. Here's the deal, I run teen programs at a YMCA and I am interested in starting up a digital photography club for teens (12-17 year olds). Here is what I am planning:

-Program to start in October. Program will run every week for approximately 8 weeks, provided there is adequate enrollment. If the club works out well, we will continue to offer it the next 8 weeks.
-Since you are the expert in the area, I like to give you the flexibility to create the agenda.
-You need to be reliable and arrive on time
    -Be outgoing and self motivated
    -Have a clean criminal record
-Be good working with and talking to teens and/or parents
-Understand the pay isn’t that much but a free YMCA membership comes with employment
-Act as a role model for participants displaying proper behavior and a positive attitude

    Goals for the program:
-Introduce teens to photography basics (lighting, positioning, etc)
-Occasionally walk around town and take pictures for projects/agenda items
-Be familiar with Photoshop CS4 as it will be the digital editing software used
-Focus on creating and enhancing students' artistic talent
-Use Photoshop to manipulate enhanced images
    -Be fun and have fun!

If you are interested, shoot me a pm. Let me know what experience you have working with kids and what you have with photography. I'll be touching base with people who respond in the near future. Let me know if you have any questions!

    Steve
