***** WARNING ***** pardon my jumbled mesh of ideas i've been typing down between work, haha its a mess
Well I've been toying around an idea in my head for a few days now. One that is causing me great strife. I've been thinking about selling my Motorcycle I dont want to sell it, but I think I want to move in other directions. Cost and sheer amount of registered vehicles, and <3 for dirtbikes is a factor.
I have recently acquired a dualsport bike (klr250) and i love the fact that i can ride it down the road, then hop on a trail and ride it all day with a smile on my face. the klr is a nice bike and all but i want a better one, with more power and better suspension, one that is not better suited for beginner riders.
So i really really really want to upgrade it, thats where the delema is. I cant really afford a new dualsport, MAYBE if i sell the yota and my curent dually i could have BOTH my motorcycle AND a new dual sport. But realisticly do i need 2? selling the motorcycle will net me a god chunck of $ and aloow me to pay other bills as well as a new dualsport so... im confused

The bikes
Yamaha WR250r (i want to buy)
Yamaha WR250r (i want to buy)
- low cost of ownership, ie. registration is dirt cheap and $100 a year insurance
- 70 mpg
- its sweet in the woods
- its still fun on the road
- i can ride tons of trails with it leagaly
- less likely to die on it, ie. it wont wheelie at 90mph and i would ride it slower all around
- not as powerfull as sport bike
- less bad ass as my triumph
Triumph Speed Triple 1050
- Its BADASS, i mean, just look at it
- it will wheelie whenever you want it to, and sometimes when you dont
- chicks dig it
- its fast
- its bad ass
- i can ride it all day (comfortable)
- i never ride it at legal speeds.... ever :\
- It can kill me easy, it has tried
- insurance is crazy on it
- 35mpg (if i romp on it, and thats usualy all i do)
