What AA batteries do you prefer in your digital camera? I have been using the recharagable ones but they don't cut it anymore. I am using a point and shoot Sony Cybershot digital camera.

I just buy the 36 pack of energizer for $15 at home depot once in a while. ...but I have a point and shoot.
I HATE rechargeable AA batteries. After a while they simply don't Charge...defeating the purpose of their existence.sigpic

Great, thanks! I just read some reviews about the Ulitmate Lithums now and other people are swearing by them too. I see Best Buy has them so I'll have to swing by and pick them up soon. I'm going backpacking for 4 days in April so I dont want to carry alot of batteries, just 4 quality ones that will last the trip.Last edited by Wide-J; 03-24-2010, 11:28 PM.88 YJ...kinda. If best buy is selling them, you can be sure they are trying to get you to "put them in all your digital devices for extended use" which means "buy these batteries marked up at a ridiculous price because they are in this stupid store"2000 XJ

But, an Xbox controller is a little different than a digital camera

I have Energizer Rechargeable AA's and for the most part I like them. Mostly because I havnt had to buy batteries in 2 years. My camera eats batteries and these seem to hold a charge as long as regular ones still/ And a major plus is that they charge in 15 minutes. Sometimes they last longer than other times tho, maybe some sets are just dying faster than others.P8R

If your interested in some inside information a real good friend of mine is an engineer at enigizer and he told me the knock off batteries like evenrude or everready are exactly the same as generic energizer batteries. He says enegizer owns those companies and just use the same battery with a different lable. The price difference is substancial too so it's worth knowing.Jeep - every bump is a steering opportunity
