I had to have spinal taps, electrical nerve conductivity testing, EXPLORATORY surgery, PICC lines, and live in the hospital for awhile to relearn to walk. GBS is a bastard

Pilonidal cyst removed, I think that counts. it was a 3 by 1 by 1.5-2inch deep hole cut into my lower back, About 5 months of packing with gauze, open healing. There is my "fun" medical procedure.

had the shot in the spine done when i broke my leg and they had to open up my leg about 12" from my knee down wasn't to bad, felt like a much bigger needle then it was. I was out and la la land until I woke up, and they had to pull drainage tube out of my leg... that button didn't put out enough morphine

not trying to compare or say that its worse than other peoples injuries or anything but honestly, its fucking terrible. i live in agony every day. i wake up and i have to sit on the edge of the bed and work my way to getting up to go pee pee, if its not sore during the day, i can barely walk when i get home, the weather in itself makes it ache so profusely. to tell you the truth i wish i never got the second surgery, im in more pain now than i was after i hurt it the second time.

Well, that's definetly worse than my buddy then. He's only 19 so I'm sure it will get worse down the road, but he still gets around fairly normal.
