Thinking about getting a camera to tape woods/street shenanigans.

anyone ever use the ContourHD? how does it compare to the gopro HD?

I just a little cheap one for free from someone. I'm going to try and mount it to my swing arm once the roads heat up a bit

maybe ill say this...if i was getting a camera just for helmet mount use, id buy a contour, i feel like the gopro is awkward when used on helmets, thats why i never set up helmet cams..if i was getting a camera to mount on cars/bikes, id probably go Gopro. the field of view on the gopro is awesome, as is its video quality

you can see a lot of sample vids from each on the interwebs...gopros are certainly impressive, and thats what i have waiting for me for all the motorsports events this year.

the helmet mount is what has me undecided. i feel if i mount it on the bike i would break it if i dumped it i've never handled the cameras so i dont know how rugged they are.
