yea thats what they said at first. than they changed it to a smaller "beaver dam" they called it, that broke from small lake, which fed the reservoir

the problem is there are 3 rivers in the area that all converge in 1 spot where it always floods. the people in richy rich oakland have a nice new dam that opens when the water level gets too high and floods everyone else.

this is the dam with the flood gates. the water is a good 5 or 6 feet high and is up to the bridge the picture was taken on

                          That storm was awesome!

I didn't lose power once, had the Generator on stand by incase though. I went out and drove around for a while. Poles down, trees down, a few wrecked cars, random things blown around. People here all bitched, OMG it's so windy, OMG it's so rainy, OMG I have no power!

I went out a few times and drove around, went through some flooded areas! L.I has so many fawking drama queens! Get over it people and be glad we don't have earthquakes, tornados and such!

I welcomed the storm, love the chaos and confusion it brought to the ill-prepared and the winey bitches that live in this area!

For those of you that know of the pair of swans I feed frequently, they even braved the rough white cap waters and stopped by me for some grub! Fawking awesome!
