on a side note, those of you whove used a stretchy recovery strap like that, what happens if it dont pull the vehicle out, the vehicle attempting the recovery slide back with the rebound instead ?

yea what i meant, i can picture in my mind the strap reaching the rebound point and inflicting whiplash into the recovery vehicle driver with force I pulled a 18wheeler out of a snowbank one day and I have a normal nylon or whatever fabirc strap that has no rebound to it like those ropes and it puts alot of stress on the ends/mounts when using it like that. obviously the reason for the compression style strap where the "shock load" isnt horrible and the built up energy really creates alot of pulling force
