PLAINVILLE, Conn. -- Police said four members of the same family were arrested in Plainville Thursday night.
Plainville police said Elizabeth Russell, 45, and her 13-year-old daughter were charged with shoplifting at about 7:30 p.m. They said officers were called by security guards at Kohl's who said the mother-daughter duo was stealing clothing and jewelry from the store.
Police said that when father, Darryl Russell, 47, came to bond the mother and daughter out of jail, he was arrested on a warrant of violating probation on burglary and larceny charges in Cheshire.
