so i hate my KM1s, always have. i broke an alloy rim.
so, i'm gonna get new tires regardless, but throw me some opinions here. if i get 15x8 steelies, i'd prob jump to ~3.75 or 3.5" backspacing for more wideness, 15x7s would be 4.75 (which is where i'm at now). skinny toyos are 190, skinny km2s are 166, 12.5 toyos are 195, kevlars are 200. allieds are $160 each.
1- breaking the alloy was a fluke, and you'll prob never do it again if you dont drive 40 mph into 6" holes with 4" thick ice blocks at the edge.
2- if you had steel, you wouldve been able to bend it back, and you prob wouldnt have blown the tire on the trail.
3- ^^ same
4- overkill? awesome? not worth the money? i'd be scrounging hard to get enough cash for this one methinks.
