  • Q&A with Loren Healey the 2010 King of the Hammers

Besides the fact that most of us are broke this interview makes me think that this could be anyone of us in the near future. I mean this KOH was his first Phawkin rocksports competition.

That's the great thing about these type of racing competitions. It's highly unlikely anybody that comes out from SiS Offroad will ever be as fast as Shannon Campbell or Jason Scherer, but you don't neccessarily have to be to win the race. If you are a good enough driver, and work hard enough before the race on your teams strategy/getting your buggy ready, there is always a chance you snag a streak of good luck and place really well.

Pirate4x4.com: What trails are on your "bucket list" of trails to do? For example, have you ever been on the Rubicon, etc.?

Loren: The Rubicon is probably the top of that list, although I would like to make it back east to see what all the hype back there is about.
........ makes me wonder if that little KOH RCQ dvd really has people thinking man the east coast must have something going
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.
