  • a lesson learned the hard way

    i have the worst luck with tires.

    once again i learned the hard way being a cheap ass never pays off.

    when i first started building this jeep i baught a used, dry rotted, old set of 32's for $30 bucks i thought sweet cheap tires. they blew out in 2 weeks.

    then i purchased the whores of sis (the genital grabbers) again very used, almost bald, and again $30 bucks. they were so bad i could bearly make it up anything even locked well after that i decided it was time for a BRAND NEW set of tires and i had aranged to get some BFG K/M 2's for $725 well once again i cheaped out and baught a decent set of used dafinity dakota m/ts on jeep wheels for $250. today 1st trip out with the new dakotas and i rip holes in 2 of the shitty ass weak sidewalls. luckly one wasent to to bad and i was able to make it out and home only having to stop and air it up once but the other was shot and i had to put my spare on.

    moral of the story dont be a cheap ass and just get the good stuff. needless to say i will be going out and getting that set of k/m 2's

                            I have only wheeled em a few times but MTZ's are fucking awesome... They arent loud on the road, they handle good on road.

                            Offroad, I wheeled in wet and slick conditions, and they went everywhere I needed them to.

                            In snow they did fucking great on and off road.

                            MTZ= Good tire

                            ill probably get KM2s for my next tire though.
