band of brothers is one of my favorite WWII movies. although the pacific doesn't interest me nearly as much as europe. so many islands.Comment

FYI, if you guys like learning about WWII, most of this new series is based on the real life account of the First Marine Division's assaults on Peleliu and Okinawa as published in "With the Old Breed" by E.B. Sledge and the book is considered one of the best first person accounts of war ever written. I highly recommend this book.
