  • Ever get a "sun burn" from welding

Yea it happens, all the sheet metal welding i did for the taillight boxes was maskless, close your eyes welding and now my face is peeling off for the 2nd day straight.

Moral, always wear your mask when welding.

The sad part is I have access to one when I need it, it's my fathers but he doesn't trust me enough to leave it in the garage without it getting destroyed/scratched

I remember when my friend was doing a body swap on his bronco 2 and used a plasma cutter for the first time. We saw him walking into the optometrists office with both eyes swollen shut and bright red. retina damage is hilarious!

edit: My right arm didnt have hair on it this whole summer from grinding lawn mower blades. The sparks would get shot right on my arm.

I lit the crotch of my pants on fire while sitting and welding in class. I freaked out when the teacher yelled "stomp it out"
