Somalia is generally violent and so beyond poverty that no amount of just money alone will fix such a place. Also an undertaking by any country other than itself for betterment in general is merely a temporary solution, as that is something that needs to be sustained within itself...which I personally believe would not happen, given the country's current situation.

i bet half the stuff that we send around the world never even gets there. it's probably intercepted by their government and the people still get screwed. i'm not giving anything to anyone unless i know it'll get there
