Ford Warranty pays 17.3 hours to replace Head Gaskets on the 6.0L Diesel. That is from the time you drive the truck in the shop to when it drives out once the job is done. Out of the 10 Head Gasket jobs I have seen guys do the closest they have come is 19 hours. And those were guys who do nothing but Diesel work. Oh and Ford's 6.4L any major engine work means you have to remove the cab and get all new hardware for the job. Everything is one time use on the 6.4L. They should amke the Superdutys titl nose like on the big rigs.
