    2012...the end of the world...your opinion on the matter?

    I am pretty much against all potential "future predicting" stories like this..i feel like once every 2 years someone says the world will end for one reason or another, yadda yadda

    The whole 2012 scare IMO is a bunch of nonsense, especially considering the general "facts" being passed around concerning the mayan predictions and such arent even true as far as i can research...and are pretty inconclusive for the most part...
    plus the whole concept to me of an ancient civilization 1000s of years ago predicting something that we as a society today cant even truthfully forsee in 2 years seems a bit..unlikely to me.

    i don't believe it, but i do see how their predictions would cause mass destruction, and well, the end of the world basically. you and i talked about this the other night...i just get nervous and worried, but i don't really believe in all the hype...

      all i know is global hysteria will lead to an awesome week of partying and looting. this is the order for me.......

      -loot gun and ammunition store
      -loot pet store, get cute puppy for the apocalypse, who knows he may become your best friend when the world is over like 5 years later.
      -loot a packy, getting kegs and massive supplies of whiskey
      -go to the grocery store and load up and 18 wheeler with enough food for a year, i stole the 18 wheeler cause i have sick guns btw

      thats my plan.

              Ive read somewhere else that its not the end of the world, but yet some sort of "change" or epiphany in the world. But not necessarily a bad change, could be for the better.
