the one big thing i notice the most...and i mean, when you sponsor something you can put your logo wherever the hell you want...but i just feel like with both monster and red bull their logos are seriously EVERYWHERE...and those logos have become a 'cool' thing to wear and represent..
and nike, adidas, phat farm, roca wear, juicy, gucci, and armani arent?
Monster, DC, Redbull, all of them...they have the "xtreme" scene by the fucking nuts...somehow they have created a direct tie between a pair of shoes and a drink, to motorsports and being a viral celebrity...
marketing at its finest when you have the people eating out of your hands for something completely unrelated to your product i'd say
not saying i really hate these companies or anything...but its amusing at least
the tie only exists because Ken Block is a Co-founder of DC shoes. my guess is whenb monster approached him for sponsership he said deal but my company goes with it.
X2 i wonder if our monster/dc/subi shirts are gonna be worth money one day now?

i know the tie between ken and the car...that was the least of my example i guess
no i was reffering to the tie between the shoes and the drink/car/driver w/e
A pair of DC shoes or a DC shirt officially has nothing whatsoever to do with driving a Subaru brand vehicle is what i am getting at if you arent Ken Block
im not trying to start any arguments, just making an observation at obvious marketing techniques that seem to be so effective
Yes, you have to hate Monster for the fact that they put their goddamn logo on everything, but you also have to respect that fact that they are dumping millions of dollars into sports we like, such as rally and baja racing and they earn the right to put their logo on everything, respectively.
