Sitting in a deer stand for hours on end does nothing for me.

As for me and hunting - lately its been mostly ruffed grouse and ducks. You wants some exercise just take up grouse hunting and walk 10 miles through cover for a few days in a row.
I have hunted bear in PA and Ontario - got a nice one hunting edges of oat fields in Ontario ('02).
Deer in PA - our group hunts long range (500-900 yard shots) shooting from one mountain to the next across the valley.
Birds in Wisconsin ('00), Kansas ('02) and North Dakota ('07) - North Dakota was probably the best hunting trip I ever had - besides pheasants, we had prairie chickens, grouse, ducks, geese, and HUGE jack rabbits.
Elk and mule deer in Montana ('95).
Obviously I like to hunt - why go to the store when you can bag, butcher, and prepare your game.
