Discuss...where do you hunt/what do you hunt/what do you hunt with, etc.

I've hunted before and found that I'm too antsy to sit around and wait and do nothing. If I were to hunt, it would be for pheasant and walk around in a field or something and shoot at birds.

Sitting in a deer stand for hours on end does nothing for me.

One day I'll save up for a Ruger Red Label. One day.

Everyone knows I hunt zombies, but I can't eat them.

It really isn't hunting, it's more like 'Hey lets go murder some zombies'. It's a bit different...I think.

Andrew and I hunt in our backyard from a treestand. I suck at it tho, I'm not that good of a shot yet with a bow plus I move a lot. I always thought that sitting in a stand for a few hours would suck, but I actually find it quite relaxing. Its also cool to watch all the animals and stuff around you. I havnt shot a deer yet, but andrew got a doe this year. We have pheasant hunted a few times before too. That is fun also

Whats a good bow to purchase? Also, do I need my bow certification to be able to purchase a bow? I wouldn't think so?

Not sure what the CT rules are but in NJ I dont think tou need one to buy a bow, but you obviously do need one to hunt. I shoot an older fred bear but im gonna get something new fairly soon. PSE, Bear, Hoyt, Diamond, Bowtech, cant go wrong with any of them. Not sure what your pricerange is but you can find a great bow for around 400 bucks.

i have yet to go hunting....im a huge fisherman and ive been planning on getting into hunting. hopefully this year

I hunt with one of the new PSE Bow Madness and they are one of the nicest bows I have shot especially for the price.
