i had some jw Excelsior and loved it too bad its 1700 a bottle and was only bottled in 1997. My friends dad has it.

i knew you were a dork
Im lucky, I have a friend that loves Blue Label so instead of spending my money we always just drink his.

I have an uncle that has 4 bottles of Excelsior too, we are only aloud to take a small drink though when someone in the family dies.

I gotta find out what this whiskey was me and my buddies got for you and see if we can aquire it. One of my good friends sisters took care of this 90 year old man and he died and didnt have anybody so he left everything to her. In his basement was crates upon crates upon crates of handles of two different kinds of this whiskey, she didnt drink it so she gave it all to us. It was like 30 gallons in all. Ill email them and find out the name agian, cuz I cant remember, but this was some of the smoothiest whiskey I have ever had! It was amazing.

I think blue label only costs $250-300

and I saw a $500 750ml bottle of Patron at the liquor store the other day. It had its own glass case. no thanks

My uncle is a millionaire off of paper clip factorys hahahaha so stupid I know, but money isnt really an issue with him and he loves his Scotch/Whiskey as most my family does.

I can tell a distinct difference in whiskeys/scotch. Thats all im really into though.

Vodka i cant tell a huge difference unless it well liquor.

When you get up into Patron Silvers and stuff that the only Tequila I will drink but I would never pay for it.

Im a big fan of Jameson Gold, but you can only get in Ireland now cuz they stopped importing it. Last time I went through Ireland I got 3 bottles, but they are sadly gone. I was hoping to go back through there this time but we hit germany instead :/

and I dont know what is about Crown, i just cant get into it.

You have to respect the taste of the liquor. I dont drink just to get drunk(oh who am I kidding, I do a lot of the time hahaha)

I wont drink something just cuz its there though to drink. I drink stuff I truely enjoy the taste of. I dont want to sit there and suck it up and be a "man" and down some budweiser or Miller.. I cant stand the taste of it(unless im completely smashed haha)

There are very few domestic beers I will drink, and they are normally small brews. About as low as I will go is Yuengling and thats just cuz all you guys love that stuff for some reason I prefer Guinness, Dogfish, Trogges, Beamish etc.

When it comes to whiskey well I just love whiskey in general so give me Evan Williams or Blue label and im just as happy

btw I have to say I am very impressed with the good turn of this thread

fawk yea dude!!! When I was in highschool I drank a lot of Even cuz it was cheap.

a liter for 10 bucks, you cant beat that. half the price of Jack. It taste a lot like Jack to me, its just a little bit more chalky and dry if that makes sense.

eh i'm not that much of a whiskey connoisseur to tell much of a difference anyway I usually have it with Diet coke anyway, hence why I buy cheap stuff.

I prefer a special blend brewed only in a deep cave in abu dhabi by buddhist monks, it then sits for 14 years aging to the perfect taste. it is not sold in any stores anywhere, and you can only receive it via invite only. only the people with the most refined taste can appreciate it, and if you cant, then you dont know what good alcohol is! Oh and it does not have a name. "Names" are for alcoholic drinks the peons and petty underlings enjoy after their day of labor.
