i is in the market for one

i wouldnt mind a "netbook" i think they are called.

    -affordable
-probably plenty good for what i will be doing with it (i tunes and internet browsing 99% of the time)

should i join the cool kids and get a mac product?
and did they come out with the intranet where you can just like flip a switch and have internet in the sahara desert?

    any reccomendations?

(sorry for not researching this, but i value yous guys's opinions more than bestbuy's)

        yes yes they do

Sam i recently got an eee pc netbook and i have not had any issues with it. It took a little getting used to at first with the keys being a little smaller. They are only slightly smaller. But other than that i have no issues with it. I got it for 300 plus tax and i would recommend it. I like the portability of it and the battery life lasts a lot longer than a regular laptop

that is a plus for me

i saw hp netbooks for around 350 dolla, which would probably suit my needs perfectly

          but im open minded

and want to click a button and receive internets if possible. if its expensive then fock that though, and if its slow and shitty fock that

its around $60 a month for wireless on a "net book"

if you are looking for cheep i would go with any used Pentium macbook

if you buy a cheep pc laptop... you get what you pay for. look for one with at least 4 gigs of ram and a solid construction. the rest is going to be personal preference such as screen size, what screen looks the best to you. weight, ect...

i find that the 13"-15" thin laptops work good if you want to actually use it as a laptop. battery life is important too. go to best buy and look around and see what one appeals to you in your price range

I would into a 12" one. i got my fiance one last year from HP that weighs just 4 lbs, only a pound more than most netbooks. I like it a lot better since it actually has drive, 2 gbs of ram and a bigger hard drive.

asus, ibm, acer, dell. in that order.

asus stuff rocks. anything you buy will be fine bc you dont do anything besides webbernet.

toshiba FTW. i love my laptop ive had it for a year and have had absolutely NO issues. it was a g but well worth it. its got tons of memory (for itunes and pics) a beautiful screen (for interwebs browsing) and an awesome keyboard (for easy typing) check it out, also HP is also a very very well recommended laptop as well. mac's are a pain in the ass. you cant take it to a regular computer tech if it breaks its gotta go to apple and most likely get shipped out leaving you computer-less for maybe a week or 2 or more.
