You go ahead and tell me what the difference is between an open relationship and being actively single. A relationship revolves around some form of commitment or "agreement"

All an open "relationship" is is you like hooking up with someone but do it with others as well, meaning you are single, not committed, not in a relationship.

Open Relationship, you can still do the bang bang bang, but you are most choice conscious, knowing you have "feelings" for another, but are not ready for a relationship.

Some relationships go REAL bad *cough*, and when that shit happens, people feel an emptyness, usually when they meet that next guy/girl. Maybe they are not ready to make a definite relationship right off the bat. Thats how I went with Dale. IMO i'd much rather commit myself to one person than hook up with a different guy every night. it's not my thing. if i can find someone to love, spend my time with, enjoy being with and have them give me the same feelings in return, i'd take it over a random hook up any day.
