Windows 7?

Im about ready to do my yearly reformat, and I currently have vista.

Is there anyone on here that no shit has Windows 7 or uses it on a daily basis that can give me some input on if its worth installing? ( not looking for people who've tried it once at bestbuy).

Ive had vista on the computer since Ive had it in December 07. I personally am not a vista hater, and have only had a few problems with it, lack of Nview , vista only lets me run 2 monitors when I want to run 3 or more , and XP had better support for multiple screens. Also had a few sound driver issues with vista but non the less nothing to get real pissed about.

Lastly, any of yall have a student email address so i can get Windows 7 for real cheap?


Im gonna do a dual boot and install ubuntu too this time around.

sounds like poor practice, but whatever works for you. i would go to windows 7 if your going to be formatting anyways, vista is a hog of an OS

anyone who has vista needs to go to 7 IMHO. its not perfect (yet) but its worlds above vista and faster (in most cases) and prettier than XP.
