  • SIS Ride?

Ok, i don't want to hijack any threads so i will ask my newb question here...

Is there any such thing as a SIS ride? I have a nearly finished scoot that I would love to break in during an actual ride.

Also anyone been through a "composite inspection here in CT? I may not want to trailer it all the way to FL. just to get a VIN#.

If you can buy the parts in a store, is it realy custom?

Im not sure about the inspection but there is a few of us that ride on SIS. I think it would be great to get a ride together.

We've never had an SiS club On road Ride, except for the Rite of Speed shoot with a Grand Wagoneer, Subaru STi, VolksWagon GTI and a Saab 9-3.

I'm sure the Bikers around here can get something together. It sounds like a cool idea, even though I don't even ride a bike.

yea its a pain in the ass here in ct and in fl. they want the mso title for the frame and all the receipt for everything you bought on the bike. you got to go to weathersfield dmv in ct and get it inspected.

          Insp.

MSO's I have, receipts too but I looked up CT laws and it says I need to cover the drive belts, cork all the pointy bits, and just look at the exhaust, notice I dont say muffler... CT says keep quiet and no pointing it into peoples drivers window.

I don't think you will have too hard of a time with all the paperwork. We will definitely be getting an SiS 2-wheel ride together.

Sounds like you have everything in order. Thats all that I can think of that you need as well. I've been riding since I got home, just watch out for the sand

i crashed the first time i rid then i gave up and decided to stick to 4 wheels.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.
