i've been following this thing for a while, its super fucking cool. they took thousands of designs from people and then build cars, and use parts from a bunch of other cars to build this things. and its fucking sick. this article is a pretty good introduction to it.

they have a few other cars/concepts as well. i think its an awesome idea and goes back to grassroots automobile building. the corporate bullshit pisses me off, and these are cars created by people who love cars, for people who love cars.

wish i had money to put a down payment on this thing... at $50K its def a good deal for what it is.

functionality???? the thing is built with function in mind. and it gets 30 fucking MPG using a BMW clean diesel. thats as good gas mileage as my subaru but it makes three times the power.

Not to mention that the whole country does not go about day to day function like the North East or California.

Yes there are a lot of green loving, hippie bitches in this world, but there are still a lot of "good ole boys" left too.

You go to certain parts of the country and its hard to find a car dealership that doesnt sell 80% just trucks and 4x4s because thats what people drive and use everyday because it is functional to there lifestyle.

I think a vehicle like that is awesome 36mpg highway! Fawk yea
