Yeah. I need a car that I can drive all year round. The Lexus was just going to be a project car. I found one with 24k on it for $15k but we need to sell the house and get into something with a big garage before I could think of building something else. My wife was a bit pissed about not getting the Lexus but she approves of the WRX.

Congrats Dave, Glad to see that you are getting a subaru and not a honda. I think alot of people on this site are starting to see the reality of life and that we cant all DD a lifted/modded rig. If i had to choose a car i would still go with subaru. Ask will before i bought my WK i was looking in to subi's.

X2! my first car is a subaru impreza. its a safe car in all elements. it kicks ass in snow, and its fun to drift in. jeeps are kick ass off road and kick ass looking when built. jeeps and subarus are completely opposites and i understand why people have both.
