The 1911 was the design given by God to us through John M. Browning that represents the epitome of what a killing tool needs to be. It was true in 1911 and is true now.—Col Robert J. Coates, USMC

well, it depends. if you buy guns simply as a tool, then sure a glock would probably suffice. if you buy guns because you are a collector, serious enthusiast, or similar, the glock may lose its appeal

Thought I will say that parts for the Remington 1100 or 11-87 are A LOT more available to the general public because Remington is the kind of company that allows you to buy parts from them, Unlike Benelli / Beretta / Franchi who will most likely scoff at us Americans trying to get parts for their 'superior' shotgun.

I collect bird dogs (genetics/performance/beauty)....guns are my tools. Although I really love my Browning and Baretta O/U shotguns, I do treat them as tools and not collectors items.
My pricing is based on their level of training and breeding potential. The best of the best usually go to good friends or repeat customers.
Right now I have a 2 year old male that is a good hunting dog and partially trained. He is not of breedable quality though, so I'd let him go for a couple hundred which is cheap but I just want him to go to a good home.
Two litters planned for spring time - will be taking deposits probably starting around Christmas. Puppy price will be $800-$1000 for the higher picks....a few may go for half that amount. First picks (male and female) of both litters already spoken for.
If you want more info, PM me and I'll get you a package of info.
