I believe the word you are looking for is "where" and not "were".

There are only two known legal places to wheel in CT on public land. And they are nothing more than old fire roads. The only place you can wheel in CT is on privately owned land, if you have permission to be there. The places you found in new milford are illegal and are frowned upon. Illegal wheeling hurts the 4x4 community, making it harder for public land to be come legal to wheel on, and giving offroaders a bad rap.

Good post but when being a grammar nazi it is recommended to not make errors yourself i.e. "be come" is become.

Everyone makes mistakes. Be come and become are basically the same word, and mean the same thing. Where and were have two different meanings.

And while we are on the subject of grammar, your sentence should have had a comma after post, and nazi.

So since a bank doesnt have a sign that says, DONT ROB US, it must be ok to rob it?
