chat box?

ctsubie.com has one. its a small box at the top of their main forum section and its basically a chat box for all the members to "chat" or talk to each other on all at once. its got font color options and such. its pretty cool in my opinion. and you cant see it unless your a member i tried posting a link but you couldnt see it

ive been on ctsubie, seen the chatbox around the net some

personally i aint sold on the idea or like it that much

we'll see what people say

to me its just another forum "fluff" feature that gets overlooked or clutters an already active forum community

We had a chatroom, that involved work, because you had to actually go to it, and it opened in another box/page.
A chatbox would just simply be at the top of the page for quick thoughts that don't deserve their own thread.
Like a facebook status type deal.
