Have you ever ridden them? If not, can't really give an opinion. I used to say the same thing, but man, these are perfect for me. They're only 12.5" with a 2" riser, so it sits under 15" which is like level shoulder height for me. I had drags on it which made me lean over the tank like a street bike, hurting my lower back, and had my elbows locked. Now my elbows are bent and my back is straight up and down. Very comfortable. Now a couple weeks ago I was at my buddies stag and there was an HA there with 20" apes and a 4 inch riser, he told me it was the only way to go. I couldn't really picture that being comfortable but I wasn't going to argue with him. hah

Softail deuce, I'm not a big fan of those, hate the back fender, but he's got alot of money into it, the motor is built SIICK.

well if its the right geometry's for your body than cool those are the ones i was talkin about the ones that are insanely huge like when you see people riding with their hands 1 foot abouve their head can't possibly be comfortable

i cut the "boomerang" sticker off thats around the "R" on the fairings so just the "R" and gsx are there. looked nice

IMO opinion Harley's good bikes, i'vebeen riding bikes for over 20 years now and as i get older i'm starting to lean more tword a harley and less tword the sportbike which is the reason mine is for sale, the thats a nice softtail tho...
