  • FINALLY

hey everyone, its been a while and i been busy....working on my new "clunker"

i don't know if any of you remember my last post..."new jeep", but it included a video of my wrecked 92 Jeep Cherokee Laredo (front end collision)...well over the summer i ran into a good deal...and it is as follows:

My dad works with a guy who has been a Cherokee fan almost his entire life. So this year he bought a 2001 Ford Explorer (why ill never figure out), decent price, decent vehicle.

Well he had a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4, and I knew this, so I had my dad ask him what he was doing with it. Apparently he was junking it, so I told my dad to make him an offer and I'll pay him back if he buys it for me. So my dad jokingly offered him a whopping $50. Best part is, HE AGREED!

She has 220K miles on her but still runs pretty good. As of right now she needs nothing more than a few body patches and all the legal shit done. Originally it needed an exhaust, radiator, and a windshield, but that's all taken care of now.

Drove her home 40 miles, with 3 quarts low on oil, a bad radiator leak, and to my surprise i found out later on it had hydraulic fluid in the transmission...drove straight, true, and smooth at 75mph!

as for now im just planning on driving it around and gettin it solid before i do any upgrades, i would DEFINATELY appreciate some suggestions as to what i should do to it as far as increasing performance off road. thanks a bunch!

those arent the most up to date pictures i have of it but as soon as i fix some of the body panels and get it lookin better ill post some more..that is IF anyone's interested.

yeah i think its one of the coolest things about it so far. once i get it back to my driveway ill take some more pictures of the grille to display is properties, in that pic it looks like its all red, and its actually red/black.
