keep your computer cool man. my friend does a lot of bmx video editing and fries stuff like video cards ect. doing that. get a cpu temp monitoring app. and keep an eye on it (there is an app for macs that keep an eye on a lot of temps, im not sure if they have one for pc)

Look at the test where they run CPUs in liquid nitrogen, its insane how fast the computer can get then... but like dana was saying. Cooling is a huge issue with CPUs
