there's definitely a riff between the two. But in the end wheeling is wheeling, so most of the cool guys in each group can put it aside.

A bunch of my friends up here are on the NTC (northeast toyota crawlers) forum. They seem like a real cool group of guys. But the forum is extremely limiting if you aren't a member ($50 a year). WAYYY more so than here. I've been on that site a bunch recently, and I need to stop. I'm getting terrible ideas. Yota's are sick once you get over that first hurdle (SAS).

If I got a yota, I'd have to do it like this. I saw this and actually liked it. I'm definitely a domestic guy, and am all about buying american. However I like how small but capable these toyota trucks are with a little bit of mods.

yup yup....however its like they were a retread or something. All of the sidewalls (inside and outside) and like perfectly smooth like a retread tire. The spare creepy on the back of the yota in the desert on the first page is the same way, and it seems to have a lot of meat left on the tire.

And ranger you are thinking of the michelin XZL

97 TJ that I think is pretty neat.

those first two trucks were either in petersons or fourwheeler, cant remember which but i have them somewhere. and those are def creepy's. In pics in the mag you can still see the outline of the sidewall treads, but they are just not there. kinda weird
