  • GM Guarantee

GM is is offering a 60 day guarantee on their new cars:
    http://www.gm.com/guarantee/

I looked at the fine print and it looks surprisingly catch-free. The worst I could find is that you're limited to 4,000 miles, you can't cause more than $200 of damage to it, and you don't get reimbursed for accessories, rebates, extended warranties, or dealer fees.

Would I be evil if I bought a new Camaro with every intention of bringing it back on day #59?

With better advertising GM would be a key automanufacturer in the United States again. They do make good vehicles..

so thats it? all they need is better avertizing? man i wish someone told them that b4 they had issues i think it has something to do with the autoworkers union.
...... oh and um, last time i checked GM sells plenty of cars, and advertising isnt everything. honda used to never have TV adds, and they had no problem selling

by the way i love my new 1500

            They also need:

            better quality manufacturing
            better reliability ratings
            better management
            better fuel mileage
            less brands
            less models

You do get it back. On the front page it's kind of confusing because they say "less any rebates plus sales tax" but when you go into the fine print it says that the buyback price includes sales tax.

I'd still expect to probably end up being out close to $1,000, but that ain't so bad for getting to thrash a brand new car for 2 months. Remember, you're getting the money back at the end so you might as well get it with all the options
