Same thing. Suppressor is the technical name for what everybody calls a silencer.

That gun is too small and it actually hurts to shoot. Same with all of those extremely compact pistols in 380, they aren't even fun.

I also sport the Glock 27

I have the Walther P22 for plinking they come with threaded barrels all you need to do is buy the adapter and you can spin a suppressor/silencer on.

You don't need subsonic ammo for the pistol the bullet doesn't have enough time to get to supersonic speed.

It ends up sounding like a really loud pellet gun, nothing like the movies.

Tactical Arms in Torrington can help you out.

2 ways to go about getting one either have the chief of police sign your form good luck with that I know the Naugatuck chief will not sign one.
Or start an LLC and it bypass all the signatures they still do the background check.
It only takes a couple weeks, The dealer does all the paperwork you just need to sign a bunch of papers.

You just need to keep a copy of the form with the silencer.

I would buy a suppressor from a reputable brand, if it gets destroyed they can make a new one with the same serial number (rebuild it). so you don't have to do through all the paper work again.

                Good luck,

Sam process for full auto, and any other weapons.

yeah I'm not looking for a derringer or anything tiny.. CCW is fairly important but not a deal breaker as long as it trades off for reliability and or cost.

it'll run you about $100-150 depending on who/where you take your NRA class.

It costs between 75$-150$ for the NRA pistol class, depending on what your instructor charges. I took mine with a guy who did it out of his "office" which he just rented to use for the class. Cost me 80$. Then you need three different money orders. If you go the police dept. in your town there should be a green packet that outlines all the different MO's you need and who they need to be made out too. I think you will need two made out to the department of public saftey, and then i think it depends if your town charges anything, you'll likely need a money order to the PD or town.

There's also the background check, fingerprints, mugshots, and you have to notify them if you move... But otherwise, yes.

Vermont and Alaska don't even require permits for concealed carry. Any non-criminal can do it. There are also a lot of states that allow open carry without a permit.

They are called 'Free States'. CT, NJ, NY, MA and CA are not Free States no matter how you slice it. At least in CT there isnt a magazine size restriction.
