im going to fix it no matter what. wheel it this fall/winter. if i get the yota i would build it in the winter and see what one i liked more.Originally posted by 4BangerTJ View PostSo whats the scoop with your jeep? Any ideas with what your gonna do?
i think its a good length, its bobbed 16" lolOriginally posted by DrThunder View PostExtended cab? I dunno man, it's like going from too sort to too long in your case. If it was a reg cab I may lean more towards it but just think of going back to no cage and a roof and the no wrangler goodness.
i def. got some thinking to do. i dont want to miss out on it and regret it. and i also dont want to get it and have it not be what i want....... ugh choices."when I'm riding my motorcycle,I'm glad to be alive...when I stop riding my motorcycle,I'm glad to be alive"

Im would assume 78-79 D60 with the longer short side tube. what is the leaf spacing on the truck? 32-32.5" is what a waggy is which is what a 78-79 D60 is also. The 86-91 Ford D60's had a mounting width of 36", so you would most likely have to outboard the springs.Originally posted by grundlepunch View Postany idea what people throw in the front of tacos for 1 tons? what year ford? do i have to re-tube or change width to make pumpkin line up?Last edited by Toreadorranger; 09-17-2009, 09:49 AM.Bent Fab Evo4 Rockwell Buggy

how much? i was thinking of just running stock waggy springs, it was sitting tall with the 2" lift springsOriginally posted by giantsfan10 View Postif you want 44044's, i have 2 that are almost brand new."when I'm riding my motorcycle,I'm glad to be alive...when I stop riding my motorcycle,I'm glad to be alive"

does it have 44044s in it now? I had those when I first started my sas on my ranger, most guys said they had to pull a leaf or two out of them.Originally posted by grundlepunch View Posthow much? i was thinking of just running stock waggy springs, it was sitting tall with the 2" lift springsBent Fab Evo4 Rockwell Buggy

it has springs in it now just to move it around, i have to give them back. the guy ran it with 44044's and 38's and 36" iroks, they look huge for the iroks (what i have) so i want to run it smaller... so i was going to go for a stock waggy pack and play around with it from there. if i need to take a leaf out i will, haven't gotten that far
also i dont know the leaf spacing on the truck, thats why i asked what 1 ton was most commonly swapped in, i would assume 78-79 but i saw a build with an 80's ford axle, but couldnt see on the frame where he had everything mounted.
the toyota section of pirate is a lot different then the jeep section, lolLast edited by grundlepunch; 09-17-2009, 11:59 AM."when I'm riding my motorcycle,I'm glad to be alive...when I stop riding my motorcycle,I'm glad to be alive"

this is my friend's truck, yota rear and 44 front WHICH HE IS SELLING!, (he's building one ton as we speak). He used chevy 63 inch springs out back and stock yota rear leaves in the front. he has moderate flex.Originally posted by grundlepunch View Posthow much? i was thinking of just running stock waggy springs, it was sitting tall with the 2" lift springs

I like the extended cab a lot more, i previously drove a toyota regular cab and a nissan regular cab and the lack of room or ability to recline the seat sucks ass. Plus I was thinking of building in a sealed box for dual batteries and a toolbox/storage area back there. You're a ___________
